CACE Wildfire Resiliency Policy Statement (May, 2019) This policy framework outlines key principles to support county governments’ readiness to respond to and recover from disaster events, and emphasizes the importance of “local voice, local action and local control.” Comparison Chart Chart compares the Governor's, CASC and CACE resiliency documents. Winning the War for Talent (July, 2019) from CALPELRA highlights survey results which suggests modifying internal practices limiting talent attraction and development. Suggestions are included for modifying county policies to enhance county ability to attract top talent. The New County Supervisors Resource Guide (July, 2019) is an extensive resource on all aspects of California county government and governance. Published and updated every two years for the New Supervisors Institute, the Resource Guide is a valuable reference for all county officials. |
