CACE Collaboration
CACE Collaboration is a community that makes it easy for California County Administrators and County Executives to communicate, collaborate and connect. It includes discussion forums, a group calendar, file and media storage, and subgroups. If you're a CAO or CEO you should already have an invitation in your email. If not, use the button below to email us and we'll get you added right away.

The CACE Mentoring Program relies on current and retired county executives sharing their expertise, knowledge and experiences. The program creates pathways that encourage passing on lessons learned from one individual to another. In the program seasoned veterans share their general wisdom to newcomers and those with particular expertise can share their knowledge with county executives in need of that specific information.
We are excited to extend an invitation to those interested in becoming a mentor or mentee to fill out their respective forms for consideration. Your submission will be reviewed, and upon approval you will gain access to the related subgroups on our Groupsite. |
The California Association of County Executives (CACE) is a 501(c)(6) organization representing the County Executive Officers (CEO) and County Administrative Officers (CAO) from California’s counties. Formally incorporated in 2020, CACE serves as a collective resource for its members to assist one another in achieving the highest level of professional excellence in serving their respective Boards of Supervisors and communities at large.
CACE partners with county-affiliated associations, including the California State Association of Counties (CSAC). In doing so, CACE offers its operational and fiscal expertise in support of the development and practice of sound public policy for California counties and the constituents they serve. The Association does not, however, engage in direct advocacy. |
CACE assists CSAC on a periodic bases by providing technical expertise in critical areas of county activities such as the development of the funding formula for AB 109 funding, which realigned the criminal justice activities in California and as well at the state return of the In Home Supportive Services (IHSS) to counties.
|
CACE engages in legislative matters that affect the overall activities of counties and occasionally takes a legislative positon, but in most cases supports the legislative platform of CSAC.
|
CACE works diligently with CSAC staff to ensure collective representation of rural, suburban and urban county needs. The CACE President serves as an advisor on the CSAC Executive Board of Directors.
