Larry Lees is the County Executive Officer for Shasta County. Larry came to Shasta County as the Director of Housing after being employed by AT&T/SBC/Pacific Bell for 30 years where he was the External Affairs Director for Northern California. Larry's experience with AT&T/SBC/Pacific Bell includes that of Business Controls Manager and Financial Auditor. Larry is also an experienced Total Quality Performance Examiner
Larry has served as a Trustee on the Redding Elementary School District and on the Board of Education for the Shasta Union High School District. Larry served on the Governor’s School-To-Career Task Force on Results and Accountability. He also was a California School Boards Legislative Delegate and a State of California Park and Recreation Commissioners Board Member. Larry has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Public Administration. He and his wife, Toni, have six children: three boys, identical triplet daughters, and 22 grandchildren. |
